What do you do? I am the Director of Class Studios, I instruct at both Class & Rise Nation, and I’m a freelance creative (photography & graphic design).

Where do YOU find your motivation? What is your WHY? My why is my faith – God is so purposeful in the way he lays out our plans. I’m fully aware that both my purpose and ministry are in fitness. I’m here to help my clients become the strongest versions of themselves.

With it being a new year, what is one piece of advice you’d give to everyone to help them stick to their goals?  Consistency is key – don’t take on too much and overwhelm yourself. Creating a life you love and are proud of takes time, it won’t happen in the next few weeks or the month of January. Make changes in your daily schedule that you know you could keep long term.

What are YOUR 2019 intentions? To be the strongest version of myself both mentally and physically. I’m really ready to break some boundaries I’ve had on myself for awhile now. I’ll also be getting my 200 hour YLTT from lululemon in Santa Cruz, California this Spring and it’s truly an answer to prayer. So excited to begin that journey.

How did you first get into fitness? I was working full time as a designer at Fossil Headquarters when I began teaching at The Ride House. Ever since it’s been me falling more and more in love with fitness.

What’s the best health/wellness advice you’ve ever received that has actually helped? Find workouts you truly love, simple as that. You won’t stick to something you’re not totally in love with. Find the movement style that is perfect for you and your body, then you won’t even question those 5am alarms.

What’s your favorite workout to do when you’re not teaching? Yoga – I was a gymnast and dancer for 12+ years so that side of me really comes out on my mat.

What’s the last song you listened to on Spotify (or iTunes, Pandora, etc.)?  Wanna Be A Baller – Made Monster (for my high intensity babes out there) or This Girl by Lauren Daigle for calmer vibes (LOVE that girl).

Best thing in your fridge right now? Easily my Hail Merry stash!

Go-to pre or post-workout snack? Protein shake with HoneyBeard protein! Shoutout #itsjustprotein <3

Go-to morning beverage(s)? Promix pre-workout if I’m teaching, and a hot tea if I’m not!

Favorite splurge meal/dessert? The Katy Trail pizza from Taverna is truly straight from HEAVEN. But I’m also a huge dessert girl so anything with cookie dough equally wins my heart.

Where do you get your health/wellness information? Many places! Social media, podcasts, and personal research. Love following the select few influencers on social media who I truly trust and believe in.

If this wasn’t your job, what would be your job? Something travel / wellness-retreat oriented. My dream is to open a wellness property in a few decades, teaching yoga and higher intensity classes by the water with amazing food and people – how dreamy would that be?!

Favorite way to unwind after a long day/week? Hot bath with Epsom salts and bath bombs + laying by my fire. I will never be in a home without a fireplace again, it’s truly magical.
